With familiar songs, gentle humor, and an easygoing coffee-house vibe, Christine invites everyone to sing along, tap a foot, clap a hand, or simply soak in the feeling of being together. Participation is always encouraged, never pressured, creating moments of connection, confidence, and joy that linger long after the last song.

The Dance Party Program is an upbeat, feel-good movement experience that reminds everyone they can still shake their bootie—whether standing or seated. Set to energizing, familiar music, this class invites residents to move in ways that feel good to them, with plenty of encouragement, laughter, and freedom to participate at any level.

The experience blends gentle stretching, chair yoga, and easy-to-follow movement, making it accessible, empowering, and fun. It’s not about getting it “right”—it’s about feeling the music, moving the body, and celebrating what’s still possible.

The Calm & Connected Hour is a thoughtfully designed afternoon program created specifically for individuals experiencing brain change and the effects of sundowning. This structured, predictable experience helps residents transition into the later part of the day feeling grounded, supported, and at ease.

The hour gently weaves together three essential elements:

  • Accessible movement to support the body and release tension
  • Playful, reassuring conversation and discovery to encourage connection without overstimulation
  • A guided calming meditation to help center, regulate, and prepare for the evening

Everything is offered with choice, simplicity, and compassion—creating a sense of safety and familiarity that helps reduce anxiety and support emotional well-being.

Inspirational Comedy Hour

Laughter, music, and moments that remind us what’s still possible.

Inspirational Comedy Hour is a joyful, interactive experience led by Christine Walters that blends motivational inspiration, improvisation, and live ukulele music. Through playful games, storytelling, and spontaneous moments of laughter, Christine creates a space where connection and creativity naturally unfold.

Residents are gently encouraged to engage and participate as much or as little as they like—whether that means offering a suggestion, singing along, laughing from their seat, or simply enjoying the shared experience. There is no pressure to perform and no “right” way to take part.
